Northgate is a neighborhood in the northern area of Seattle with a rich story: it is perhaps one of the most ancient populated areas in the United States, as it has been populated since 8,000 BCE by different native tribes who saw this area, full of greenery, as great for foraging and hunting and saw its natural springs as a powerful way to heal ailments of both the body and the mind.
This area has been subject to a lot of development and rebuild to catch up with its population growth: as a rather densely populated area, its is well known as a transportation nexus that connects Seattle together and with its neighbors: the Northgate Station offers plenty of options to travel and the surrounding hotels and inns make of this neighborhood one of the best places to stay if you are traveling and want to stay within budget.

All in all, the Northgate area offers a bit of a mixed vibe: the areas surrounding the mall area are a bit more lively and bustling, while the surrounding areas are more quiet and residential. Each neighbourhood has its particular “feel” so this area is really ecletic which is great if you are a fan of enjoying different “vibes”.
